I. Scope
Initiated by the ECAP Foundation, the Valbvuk is a Leonardo da Vinci project, under the Lifelong learning programme. 8 countries are partners: Switzerland (leader), Austria, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Germany and Slovebia.
II. Objectives
The main goal of the Valbuk is to implement and use ECVET principles in order to facilitate access to lifelong learning and qualifications of migrant workers in an emblematic sector, cleaning services. A solid and competent consortium, including stakeholders of CVET and the owner of the original model to be transfered (3S-Austria), will design a VQTS Matrix of competences taking into account the needs identified by the market (employers and users) and will test this tool among professionals (employers and emplyees).
III. Results
- a VQTS MAtrix in ordeer to compare existing qualifications in the cleaning services sector, define a shared competence Matrix declined in units of learning outcomes (areas of competences),
- EQF levels and steps of development of the competences on the baisis of complexity of knwoledge and skills, autonomy and responsibility, related to activities included in the Matrix;
- Guidelines and related procedures for the complettion of a fexible and modular qualification pathway based on the Matrix;
- operational partnerships involving stakeholders and key actors in the cleaniong sector and employment of migrant workers ;
- rasining awarenbess of ECVET potentialities in the cleaning sector;

IV. Experimentation
in France, iriv
- in partnership with the Cité des Métiers in Paris: a network of stakeholders in charge of training and qualification; workshop to test the Matrix among VPL councilors and professionals in the cleaning sector;
- in partnership with Maisons de l'Emploi in Ile de France: a group of stakeholders among professionals and griups of users (female migrants).
